Gospel Communities: a place to grow in sharing the gospel of Jesus and ourselves
Our Gospel Communities are a place where we grow in speaking the gospel to one another in every occasion for the purpose of knowing Jesus and growing in discipleship. This cultivates our communities as multi-generational places where we love and serve each other in many areas of life, and provides a welcoming context for people exploring Jesus and Gospel Church. Gospel Communities meet twice a month to encourage fellowship through eating together and spiritual growth through feeding on Christ together. These meetings involve discussion, participation, and prayer as we apply the truths we are learning together in our lives of discipleship.
There are three groups that meet in various homes throughout Durango.
Thiessen/Miller – Will meet Wednesday evenings from 6-8. This group will meet on the Florida Mesa near the airport and also just northeast of Elmore’s Corner. This group is recommended for folks more central in Durango.
Balloun/Berger – Will meet Wednesdays from 5:30- 7:30pm in the Ballouns’ home in Forest Lakes and in Bayfield at the Bergers’. This group is for those out east of town.
Meadows/Hunter- Will meet Wednesdays from 5:30 – 7:30 at the Hunters house out west of Durango. This group is for those folks west of town.
